Editing Reports: Adding a Hyperlink

To add a hyperlink to a report:

Highlight the text in the report that you want to hyperlink.

Click on the Hyperlink tool on the Table Insert ribbon.

The Hyperlink dialog box is displayed with the highlighted text string appearing in the Text to display field.

(Optional) Use the ScreenTip field in the Hyperlink dialog box to add a screentip for the link. This is text that will appear whenever the link is hovered over with the mouse.

(Optional) Click on the Existing file or web page radio button in the Hyperlink dialog box if you want to link to a file on a network or if you want to link to a URL. Or, if you want to link to a previously bookmarked location in the report, click the Place in this document radio button.

(Optional) In the Address text box of the Hyperlink dialog box, select the bookmark you want to link to, or enter the file path or web URL you want to link to.
